Ford Ranger (1988-2008)
Ford Rangers come in three different styles: standard XL and XLT, sporty STX and Sport, and the off-road-oriented FX4 and FX4 Level II. Most Ford Rangers have an engine base 2.3-liter four-cylinder, a 3.0-liter V6 and a range-topping 4.0-liter V6. Transmission choices include a five-speed manual and a five-speed automatic for the smaller two engines, while the 4.0-liter V6 comes with an automatic transmission only. |
Ford Taurus (1988-2008)
The original Ford Taurus was, through most of the '90s, the best-selling car in America. Although Ford announced in late 2006 that it was stopping production on the Taurus, its death was short-lived. Ford resurrected the Taurus for 2008 when it renamed its revamped Five Hundred full-size sedan. Taurus has a number of differences beneath the familiar Taurus style look. Under the hood there is now serious power in the form of a 3.5-liter, 263-hp V6 mated to a new six-speed automatic. The all-wheel-drive (AWD) version has a new six-speed unit in it. |
Ford Expedition (1997-present)
The Ford Expedition is a full-size SUV based on Ford's popular full-size pickup truck platform. With rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive and seating for up to eight or nine adults when equipped with the third-row seat. All Expeditions are powered by a 5.4-liter V8 that produces 300 horsepower and 365 pound-feet of torque. |
Ford Mustang GT (2003-2006)
The Ford Mustang is the only original pony car that has remained in production without interruption after four decades of development and revision. The current version comes with a 4.6L SOHC V8 in the Mustang GT model. The Mustang comes with a 5-speed automatic transmission as well as the common standard transmission for the muscle car fans. |
